PowerConnectTMIVR is used to speakinformation to a caller or called party for a variety of sources& a variety of ways. Many times information cannot be delivered through voice –a document needs to be transferred to the customer. Moreover, many documents can be populated with data only at runtime –depending upon the caller, and preferences (for instance, a statement of account for the previous year). For such business needs, fax & email are the options of choice. PowerConnectTM’sFax on Demand (FOD) & Email on Demand (EOD) can accept pre-filled documents, images as well as dynamically changing documents from many sources –web, databases, text, etc. A customer can choose multiple documents in a single call (the total number of documents & pages is configurable). To the receiver the documents can be sent to G3/G4 fax machines, emailed through an SMTP link. PowerConnect can covert the documents being emailed to a wide variety of formats, including HTML, Excel®, MS-Word®, RTF®, PDF, etc.Further, it is possible for a caller to call, select the documents and specify a phone number to send the documents to. PowerConnect™can then dial the phone number and deliver the document to the fax machine. Of course, every feature is configurable.
